Thabang Tlaka is a clinical psychologist who is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). Thabang has deep and wide experience that includes work for community clinics, a hospital, a university and the Defence Force (SANDF). Thabang has also worked with individuals, families and diverse groups of people in various provinces across South Africa.
Thabang holds a Masters degree in clinical psychology from the University of Pretoria. He was a Mandela Rhodes Scholar in 2008 and a Brightest Young Mind Delegate in 2009. He is pursuing a PhD, researching how men talk to other men about divorce. He completed his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of Pretoria. He attained the following degrees: BSocSci, BSocSci (Hons) and MA Clinical Psychology.
Thabang is an author, speaker and dynamic poetry performer, who has spoken in academic settings. He is also a playwright and has performed at various concerts and conferences.

Thabang co-founded the Crazy Poetic Ministries with his wife Zanele, which spreads the Gospel through the creative arts, with emphasis on writing and poetry performances. In addition, he has also served as a board and council member at the Bethel Full Gospel Church.
